At the bottom of the sheet are the inscriptions in Cyrillic "Balzac / Provincial / Story" and "I. Stenberg / 1938" and the ink inscription "Philip Bredo" and "I. Stenberg / 1938". The scuff in the lower left corner, the inscription in ink "I. Stenberg / 1938" partially washed away by water. There are two punctures at the bottom and at the top. The sheet is glued to the cardboard.
