On the back side remains of an inscription in Cyrillic in black ink “Sovereign Emperor Nikolai Alexandrovich with the Sovereign / Alexandra Fedorovna and Gr. Duchess Anastasia Mi [hai] / lovna filmed after breakfast, which was served in officer. [room] / in Krasnoe Selo, after the Imperial review / of Squadron Exercises, in 1906. The commander of the Life Guards Cavalry Regiment, Major General of His Imperial Highness's retinue, Prince Alexander Iraklievich Baghartion-Mukhransky is to the right of Emperor Nicholas II. Grand Duchess Anastasia Mikhailovna is to the left of Empress Alexandra Feodorovna.
Alexander Iraklievich Bagartion-Mukhransky (1853-1918) was a prince, a graduate of the Nikolaev artillery school; since 1904 - the commander of the Life Guards Cavalry Regiment and Major General. In 1905 he was enlisted in the retinue of His Majesty.
