Lacuna. The Steel Worker.

My former home in the Ruhr valley was once one of the largest steel producing areas in the whole world. Since the steel crisis 1973, the region is in a constant structural change. Many of the former pits and industrial buildings now contain cultural projects and possibilities. The image shows exactly this transformation of the steel industry into a form of art.
