The naked female body excited artists from time immemorial: from sculptors of antiquity to the modern era. Nude is also one of the most controversial genres in modern photography. For centuries, the doll has served man, having the status of a simple toy for girls. The authors are trying to really prove that the dolls are not empty and soulless plastic or porcelain mold with an insensitive body, devoid of emotions, passion, fantasies. Irina Myzina is currently director of the Wachtanoff Doll Gallery in Moscow, photographer and curator. She is member oft the Creative Union of Artists of Russia and member of the Board of the Peace Dolls Foundation. Awards and prizes: Pandora Award (winnter), Pushkin Gold Medal for patronage and enlightenment (laureate), Diploma for contribution to national culture from Artists Creative Union, Patron Saint Honorary Award from the NIADA American Institute of Professional Puppeteers (winner).
