Almendra López Villasana, originally from Mexico City, living  in Berlin, has shown since an early age her great interest in the field of "Humanities and Arts". Her sensitivity and imagination were increased and influenced by her father (Pedagog) and her aunt (Journalist / Painter). Self-taught, Almendra has experimented and researched various techniques of artistic expression, finding her inclination for Object Art and Painting. They have been complemented with studies of Lic. in Graphic Design, Master in Education, as well as diverse diplomas of Conceptual Art.

Her pictorial works emerge from the color and texture of her Mexican culture, relating a significant introspection, which accentuates the forms and tonalities, where each color and stroke takes on a new signifier to the artist's gaze.
