The auction house «Kabinett» starts it’s activity as auctioneer at the new location in Berlin, at one of the most cosy and beloved places of the city - the Savignyplatz.
The auction house «Kabinett» carries out auctions on various topics - from antiquities and medieval artifacts to numismatics, from the art of old masters to contemporary art. At the same time two basic directions constitute the focus of our interests and our research - the art of the XVIII.-XX. century as well as old and rare books. Our experts are recognized specialists notably in the areas of Russian painting and graphics of the XVIII.-XX. century, bronze sculpture of the XIX. century, phaleristics and objects of history of the Russian Empire.
Collections of painting, graphics and bronze sculpture compiled by experts of the auction house «Kabinett» for our customers particularly stand out with the highest quality of the artworks. That is also the reason why they often are presented in exhibitions of leading museums as the Russian Museum in St. Petersburg and the Tretyakov State Gallery in Moscow, whether as single pieces or complete collections.
In the upcoming season Autumn-Spring 2016/2017 the auction house «Kabinett» is planning to carry out auctions on European and Russian art and Arts and crafts of the XVIII.-XX. century, further on contemporary art and photography. All auctions will take place in December 2016.
In February an auction on old and rare books, maps and engravings is planned.
In it’s rooms at Savignyplatz the auction house «Kabinett» organizes and realizes exhibitions on old and contemporary art. Our claim is to demonstrate the various existent connections between different eras and styles, between ancient artifacts and contemporary technologies within the art.

The auction house «Kabinett» is pursuing extensive research and publishing activities. In addition to traditional auction catalogues we prepare monographs and art books on the work of individual painters and sculptors.
