The artist Igor Zaidel (*1965 in Moskau) lives since 1990 in Berlin. He studied at the Moscow Institute of Architecture and at the UdK Berlin and has led several artistic projects as a curator in various European countries. The exhibition “Tales of Forgotten Cities” focuses on two previously not shown graphic series: “Balkan Butcher Charts” (in collaboration with Selma Mekić, Svetlana Strugarević and Milan Drobnjak 2015–2017) and “Biruchiy Butcher Charts” (in collaboration with Ukrainian StreetArt artists). In addition to both graphical series the drawings “I Am Not From Kronstadt” (2016) and the assemblages “Book After Book” (Sergej Luskind/Igor Zaidel 2008-09) are going to be presented.
