Dear Ladies and Gentlemen

We would like to cordially invite you to our auction "Today.Berlin.Art III", which, in accordance with the circumstances, will take place online.

This already third auction of contemporary art follows the two in the previous years and gives this series an outlook into the future.

We focus on the city of Berlin and thus show works that either originate from creators living in Berlin or deal thematically with life in the city. In this way, we give young and already successful artists the opportunity for presentation and distribution in the international arena. Works by more than 70 artists will be shown.

 

We remain open to diverse forms of art production and offer drawings and paintings as well as objects and street art. Participating artists will be among others: Malte Hagen Olbritz, Haralampi G. Oroschakoff, Prof. Klaus Fussmann, Burkhard Witzmann, Alessandro Cemolin, Günay Shamsi, Patrick Hartl, as well as street artists such as ArtNega, Plamen Monev - Junior a.k.a NOREP and Lacuna.

The first auction of contemporary art by the auction house "Kabinett" was held at Villa Elisabeth in April 2018. Overall, the auction house celebrated a great success with 58 artists and 206 auction lots represented at that time.

The second auction blew the frame with 310 lots from 97 artists, as well as an extended sale on the online platform Invaluable.

The organiser is the international company Kabinett Auktionshaus & Antiquitäten GmbH, which has been based in Berlin since 2016. It emerged from the Kabinett auction house, which was founded in Moscow more than 20 years ago and has been operating successfully on the art and antiques market ever since. Previous auctions have been dedicated to the history of the "Russian Seasons" in Paris; they have also featured, among other things, various collections of books and book prints.
