Marbled cardstock wrappers with gilt lettering and design. Coated stock text block is decorated throughout with ornamental frames and photographs of dancers and their performances: V. Nijinsky, L. Lopokova, A. Bolm etc.

The edition contains 13 full-page and 1 double-page spread ill. by L. Bakst: Odalisque from „Scheherazade“; Blue Sultan from „Scheherazade“; 2 maenads; Syrian dancer from „Cléopatre“; Pelerin from „The Blue God“; Almeh from „Scheherazade“; Set design for „Scheherazade“; Jungling from „Scheherazade“; Faun from „L‘Après-Midi d‘un Faune“; Hirte from „Daphnis et Chloe“;  Peri from „Le Peri“; Nymph from „L‘Après-Midi d‘un Faune“; 1 full-page ill. by R. JONES: colored costume design.

Wrappers are slightly rubbed and minorly soiled, with small losses. Losses of the margins, some soiling of the pages. In very good overall condition.

B) 30 x 22,5 cm; [24] pp.: ill. Saddle stitch binding with green twisted cord. Without wrappers. Coated stock text block is decorated throughout with ornamental frames and photographs of dancers and their performances: V. Nijinsky, L. Lopokova, A. Bolm etc.

Text block is soiled occasionally, with few losses and creases. On the p. 21 mounted newspaper article with text and drawings of the 1920. In fair overall condition.
