Lomtev, Nikolai Petrovich (Alexeyevich?) (1816-1858). Father God.

1844. Paper wirewove, pencil. 27.5 x 17 cm.

The artist's signature on the bottom left is in pencil "NL. Roma / 1844". Below right is a signature in black ink in Cyrillic "painted by Lomtev". On the reverse side is a poorly readable inscription in pencil and "N17". The upper right corner is torn off, yellowing, numerous "foxes" spots. The top two corners are glued to a modern paper passepartout. There're glue marks on the back of the two bottom corners.
