Traces of scotch tape and owner's marks in pencil on the reverse side.


Among those depicted: Duke Boris Vladimirovich Romanoff is in the center in Aide-de-camps uniform; to his right is his Adjutant Captain of the Life Guards of His Majesty's Hussar Regiment Alexander Alexandrovich Frideritsi; to the left of the Grand Duke is the adjutant's wife Elizaveta Fabritsievna Frideritsi with children. Standing in the second row are: Colonel of the Life Guards of the Cossack Regiment, Aide-de-camp Pyotr Petrovich Orlov; Adjutant of Grand Duke Andrei Vladimirovich Paul Friedrich Mecklenburg-Schwerinsky; Staff Captain of the Life Guards of the 4th Rifle Imperial Family of Battalion Fyodor Fyodorovic; to him on the right Ivan Mikhailovich Plen. His Serene Highness Prince Anatoly Pavlovich Lieven is sitting on the bottom step on the left. Anthony Joseph Drexel (the Younger) is on the top step to the left of E.F. Friderici.
