Metropolitan Evlogy (Vasily Semyonovich Georgievsky) (1868-1946) was a Russian church leader. In 1907 he became a member of the II State Duma from the Orthodox population of the Lublin and Sedletsk provinces. In 1907-1912 he was Member of the III Duma. Since May 14, 1914 he was Archbishop of Volyn and Zhitomir. In December 1917 he was elected a permanent member of the newly formed Holy Synod. He managed "all Western European Russian churches" since 1920 while in exile. In 1922 he became a Metropolitan. In 1945 he returned to the subordination of the Moscow Patriarchate.
